A minha resposta é esta, e você provavelmente pode dizer pelo meu resumo, eu gostei muito, ele não é o melhor filme que eu já vi, e ela tem suas falhas, mas a coisa é que eu pensei que era divertido, espirituoso e um tanto original que não't gostem tanto como eu fiz, provavelmente, irá questionar se eu tenho qualquer conhecimento de Sherlock Holmes, se é que os livros ou as incontáveis interpretações do personagem e de suas histórias. A resposta é sim, eu realmente gosto de Conan Doyle's histórias, eles são inteligentes e perspicazes e Holmes si mesmo é muito intrigante personagem com uma personalidade distinta, e eu sou um fã de ambos os Basil Rathbone e Jeremy Brett. Se eu tivesse uma preferência, eu diria que o último, mas apenas marginalmente, Rathbone foi excelente, ele era sofisticado e corajoso, mas Brett tinha que presença imponente e generosidade sobre ele que me fez gostar dele um pouco volta para este filme, eu gostei de como ele foi filmado. Eu achei elegante, inovador e inteligente.
